How to make a basic low-cost dancing floor at home.
Every respectable irish dancer need to practice more than two or three times per week. That's why we decided to free some space at home and create some kind of deployable practice room.
At first we dismounted the bed. Henceforth we sleep on the floor.
Then we found some old furniture and got some sheets of chipboard. Also we found an old inner tube in my father's garage, sliced it in pieces and glued them to the wooden plates. In such a way we added some moreamortization and prevented sliding over the floor. Then we placed the boards in some handy configuration. Some used mirrors were set along the wall. Voila! Now we have a simple, mobile and very cheap solution.

I agree, it's a little bit noisy. We'll improve it with the time goes by.
