Its been a terribly busy month and I just don't have a long post in me, so I thought I would share some of my work from whatthefeis.com with you. Every now and again I am inspired to write a little haiku, or as I call them micro-poems. Here are a few I have composed over the years, enjoy, and if so inspired, share yours in the comments.

Haiku for the Start of Feis Season

saturday silence,
joyfully broken once more,
by hard shoes on wood.

A Feis Day Haiku

(also known as the hairspray haiku)

hole in ozone grows,
authorities wonder why,
because its feis day.

Watching Her Grow

A little haiku I wrote when I realized how much TGC (the girl child) has blossomed in Irish Dance.

clumsy, like a fawn
but feis after feis she grows
like a doe, graceful

We're very happy with our shoes and the speed at which we received both the shoes (4 pairs) and a credit note for the shoes (2 pairs) we returned - less than 24 hours from posting to you is most impressive!
