Its been a terribly busy month and I just don't have a long post in me, so I thought I would share some of my work from whatthefeis.com with you. Every now and again I am inspired to write a little haiku, or as I call them micro-poems. Here are a few I have composed over the years, enjoy, and if so inspired, share yours in the comments.
saturday silence,
joyfully broken once more,
by hard shoes on wood.
(also known as the hairspray haiku)
hole in ozone grows,
authorities wonder why,
because its feis day.
A little haiku I wrote when I realized how much TGC (the girl child) has blossomed in Irish Dance.
clumsy, like a fawn
but feis after feis she grows
like a doe, graceful
